Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Nicole Pogue
Nicole Pogue is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Arizona Veterans Resource Center (AZVRC), a one-stop resource hub serving veterans and their families across Maricopa, Pima, and Yavapai counties. Under her leadership, AZVRC has become a driving force for holistic veteran wellness — bridging gaps in housing, employment, benefits access, and mental health support. With a background in business and nonprofit leadership, Nicole has built a coalition model that unites veteran-serving organizations under one roof, empowering collaboration instead of competition. Her vision has led to the creation of the Defender's Den Wellness Lounge, the East Valley Women Veterans group, and The Spotlight podcast — each designed to reconnect veterans with community and purpose.
A passionate advocate for women veterans and suicide prevention, Nicole's work is rooted in lived experience, resilience, and the belief that no veteran should ever feel alone in their transition. She has guided thousands of veterans through crises, partnerships, and new beginnings, always with the same mission: to help them Reconnect, Rebuild, and Rise. Through her leadership, AZVRC has grown from a grassroots effort on a shoestring budget into one of Arizona's most promising veteran networks, redefining what community-based support looks like for those who served.
